Corporate Membership

AUD464/year
  • All members must be financial members of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • At least one Principal (or practice owner) must be eligible for Full Membership.
  • A maximum of 4 speech pathologists can be included in the practice Corporate Membership. Associate members may be included in the corporate membership. Clinicians included under a corporate membership must have a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • The annual fee for Corporate Membership will be double the Full Membership fee. Additional members (i.e. over and above the 4 allowed) may be included in the Corporate Membership for the cost each of half the Full Membership fee.
  • Annual membership runs from 1 October to 30 September the following year. Please note that only a Principal Speech Pathologist may sign up for Corporate Membership and payment must be made in full (ie. No part payments)
  • Note: Renewal fee is $414

Full Membership

AUD257/year
  • Must be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Must have been practising in the field of speech pathology for a minimum of five (5) years full time.
  • If more than five (5) years have elapsed since leaving the work force, SPA’s re-entry criteria must be met.
  • Annual membership runs from 1 October to 30 September the following year.
  • Note: Renewal fee is $207

Associate Membership

AUD257/year
  • Must be financial members of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Must be a Speech Pathologist who has been practising for less than 5 years but with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Membership includes a requirement for a minimum of 1 hour per month (12 hours / year) of documented professional support (see the PSPAWA Professional Support Hours Log).
  • Associate members will be listed on the website with their membership category noted as such.
  • Annual membership runs from 1 October to 30 September the following year.
  • Note: Renewal fee is $207

Provisional Membership

AUD97/year
  • Must be financial members of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Must be a Speech Pathologist who has been practising for less than 3 years.
  • Membership includes a requirement for a minimum of 2 hours per month (24 hours / year) of documented professional support (see the PSPAWA Professional Support Hours Log).
  • Provisional members will not be listed on the website, be entitled to vote at the AGM nor hold a position on the Executive Committee (however attendance at meetings and involvement in subcommittees is encouraged).
  • Annual membership runs from 1 October to 30 September the following year. New graduates joining after course completion will be able to join until the membership year (e.g. if joining in January, membership will continue until the end of September of the following year).
  • Note: Renewal fee is $67
